ara offers her clientele perhaps the most comprehensive property services in Marin. Highly successful in both real estate and interior design, Kara provides her clientele with perhaps the most comprehensive property services in Marin. Whether her discriminating clients are buying, selling, renovating or refurbishing a Marin home, they value Kara’s unsurpassed market and design knowledge, integrity, discretion and meticulous attention to detail. She is equally respected among her colleagues, who appreciate her professionalism, sense of humor and the value she places on professional as well as personal relationships.
Kara grew up in the worlds of real estate and design. Her creative eye, sense of style and appreciation for fine property evolved as she observed her mother, a successful commercial real estate agent and designer, educated at New York’s prestigious Pratt Institute and head of her own interior design and space planning firm. While Kara’s background and training allow her to envision a property’s potential, her design resources and skills as well as her distinguished team of contractors and craftspeople allow that potential to be realized. In addition, as a mother of three, she understands the needs of growing families as those needs relate to houses, locations and budgets.
Born in Santa Cruz and graduating from the University of Oregon, Kara has lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay Area for nearly 20 years. She and her husband, respected San Francisco Realtor Paul Warrin, have resided in the Marin community of Belvedere for more than a decade. Together as well as individually, they have developed and sold numerous luxury properties throughout Marin and San Francisco.
Kara says she cannot imagine living anywhere else in the world. Spectacular skylines, iconic bridges, mountains, ocean and bays are within sight, while hiking, biking and sailing are at her feet, and California’s Wine Country and Lake Tahoe are just a short drive away. She enjoys tennis, running, cooking, entertaining, travel, food, wine and children, and gives back through the Reed School Foundation, Marin General Hospital and Tiburon Library.
